Requesting Mass for your Intentions
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the most perfect of all prayers. This perfect sacrifice of Christ, made once for us on the cross, is made present wherever the Mass is offered.
It is a Catholic custom to ask the priest to offer Mass for one’s intentions (whether for those who are living or for those who have died). Parishioners are welcome to request the offering of Masses for their intentions using the Mass offering envelopes which are available in our churches.
As people will be aware, it is customary to make an offering to the priest when requesting a Mass (and this forms a part of his maintenance).
You are welcome to request Masses on the form below.
The information you provide is encrypted and will be used in accordance with the Church’s data protection regulations.
If there is any difficulty with the intention request we will get in touch with you. Please note that Mass intentions are published in the newsletter. If you want the intention to be private please mark the Mass as “private intention”.
We may anonymise some intentions (in accordance with GDPR regulations) if we are unsure that the person it is offered for (if they are living) has not given explicit consent.
Please note your payment is securely encrypted.
